Augh, My Head....

I'm sorry I haven't been around lately.  So many things have been happening in the past couple of weeks.  I forgot to mention that Harry gave an interview to The Quibbler last month.  It wasn't exactly the most respectable place for warning people about V-Voldemort, but it's out there.  Having Rita Skeeter in the byline probably helped the issues sell out.  That woman.  She's just as bad as Umbridge, but sometimes you need to deal with necessary evils.

Fred and George quit school as well.  Flew out the door, set off fireworks, an entire show.  Those two.  I'm surprised they didn't blow up some obscure part of the castle to put the finishing touch on their departure.  There is a swamp on one of the floors now.  Really quite extraordinary magic they managed to pull off, no one has been able to get rid of it yet.  If only they'd put all that knowledge to better use.  Honestly, all that potential gone.  Ron desperately wants to join them in whatever they're going to do, but thank goodness that his mum won't stand for it.

Oh, and I had my career consultation with Professor McGonagall!  She told me that anyone would take me in their occupation, but really, I need to narrow my choices down!  There's a teaching job at Hogwarts, an Auror, working for the Ministry, going abroad for more study....it's really quite open!  Maybe I'll talk to one of Mum's friends about the medical field.  I've always fancied being a Healer.

[Locked/Hackalbe]
....Once Jack gets back,  we need to talk.  And I'm close to the end of the book on my year.  Perhaps another week or two.  All my studying is keeping me from finishing.

((OOC: lol, watch the mun catch up on ridiculous amounts of canon.))

Review your defensive and offensive spells, particularly Expelliarmus, hm~?

It is doing well, the combined efforts of my own magic and that of other worlds have helped the pain, though the growth is still slow.

We haven't gone over basics in the DA for a while. I'll ask Harry to help once he gets some time to himself.

I'm glad! Dumbledore said he could help! I didn't tell him your real identity. He said he'd send the information to you.

((She's still going to get hit by the spell. D: It'll actually have some side effects other than getting mentioned and never heard of again.))

Good girl.

He did, truly? Fantastic, I look forward to what he has in mind for me. ♥

Re: [Locked]
slkjfweoiuaflksagjsdhfklj It-It's only practice!

How should I send it to you? Considering that he thinks you're just another wizard somewhere, it would be hard to explain the idea of world hopping and Greek gods being real as wise as he is.

((I knooooow. If it wasn't such a big event in canon, I'd skip it altogether. ;__;))

Re: [Locked]
You saw that?!

....Ah, no, it was nothing. Just a--sneeze! Spring colds and all, ahahahahaha.

That would be fine! Dumbledore would love to meet you in person.

Once you're free, I'll help set up a meeting. All at your leisure, of course.

It's nice to see that I'm not the only one who has a busy life! Though really, tabloid newspapers, everyone reads them, even if they don't admit it. Probably the best place to get things like that out, if you ask me~

Oh, and Hermione...

Be careful.

Tabloid doesn't describe the normal quality of The Quibbler. It's gotten better since the interview. They're publishing things that the Prophet refuses to. Actually--I'm rather grateful for them.

...I'll try. Thank you.

Oh, I dunno. They post entertaining stuff, at least~ That being said, it's good that they'll post stuff no-one else will. That's one point for free will, oh yes!

You better. I want you to stay in one piece, you got that?
[info]gryff_booklover wrote:

It is! There's so little of it in the Wizarding World. Any form of it is nice--even if there's a story on the Rotfang Conspiracy afterwards.

I will, Doctor. No one's going to keep Harry and Ron safe if I'm not around so there's incentive for me.

The Rotfang Conspiracy, what's that?

Oh, those two. I mean it, you've got that right, if they're anything like what I've read about them~

I don't even know. Something with some animal or event or thing.

That's one thing she got right. In fact, they goofed off the whole afternoon while I was in the library. They know better.

Hmmm. Well, I dunno. Never pass up on a good conspiracy, as far as I'm concerned!

Well, so did I, but that never stopped me~

If you can find anything, fell free to tell me.

You're the Doctor though. Nothing stops you.

Well, almost nothing.

...

You mean like guidance counsellors, pal? Geez, I remember the one at my school. She was really sweet. She advised me what classes to take if I wanted to go into the police, actually, pal!

So, you gave an interview for a magazine, huh?
[info]gryff_booklover wrote:

In this case, she's just like a guidance counselor. She's usually my Transfiguration professor, but I suppose that she took training of some sort to do this.

Hm. I did, I guess. I never looked at it that way. Just helped get truth out.
[info]aguyyoucantrust wrote:

Transfiguration... but that's kinda like magic, right?
[info]gryff_booklover wrote:

It is. The act of changing one object into another. Quite powerful, really.

... Then - wait, that makes you a witch, doesn't it?!
[info]gryff_booklover wrote:

Yes. Currently in my fifth year of school to become a well-rounded witch, but I am one. You're...afraid of the idea?
[info]aguyyoucantrust wrote:
May. 20th, 2008 08:00 pm (UTC)
Afraid? No way, pal! In fact, when I was a kid I always wanted to be a wizard!
[info]gryff_booklover wrote:

Really? Magic is so wonderful! Here, you'd be an Auror. They do police work and the like. I think you would enjoy that!
